Delicately Dotted Rainbow Nails
This super-simple (yet no less stunning) manicure is another great idea for nail-art beginners because it's as easy as painting each nail a different color and adding some tiny white dots with a toothpick.
"I used different pastel base colors, which always remind me of spring," Smith says. "And I used a dotting tool for the polka dots, but a cocktail stick would also do the job."
Garden Green Tips
"Green is all I'm seeing with nail designs, and abstract styles have really grown on me due to the freedom it gives," says Sarah Haidar of @helunails. "Paint an initial swirl or line with a thin brush, and then build on that with additional colors right above it." See? It's that simple.
Mirror Nails
Metallic nails have been trending recently with the likes of Dua Lipa and Kourtney Kardashian giving their stamp of approval. However, spring manicures are set to up the ante. Silver chrome manicures give an almost mirror-like effect and disco ball nails are also trending at the intersection of mirror nails and 3D nails. Let’s embrace all that’s reflective.
“Clean Girls” Nails
While long, extravagant nails will no doubt continue to dominate our feeds through spring, the “clean girl” beauty aesthetic is also driving a rise in shorter, “no makeup” manicures. Try our the looks skin tone matching neutrals or rosier pink or peachy shades with a glossy finish.
French Tip and Floral Nails
If you’re not too keen on the bright colours, but still want to celebrate the season, you can opt for some delicate, floral feature nails instead. We love how well the pattern combines with a classic french tip.
